Ian graduated from Widener University where he played football and received his degree in Criminal Justice. Ian served his country with 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and was deployed four times to Afghanistan. Even though Ian always had fervor to overcome any obstacle in his life, his gifts were shown throughout his time in the special operations community. While in Afghanistan, 75th Ranger Chaplain Kirby saw Ian struggling inwardly and spiritually. He said, "Ian, you are one of God's soldiers now in this war, and after your time here you'll be fighting as one of God's spiritual warriors."  Those words have been a driving force behind Ian's public speaking message helping others find their purpose. 

Ian serves on the worship team with his wife, Robin. Together they minister regularly at Labor of Love USA and spearhead the many ministry outreaches for the community. Ian has a passion for equipping this young generation. Whether it's in church, speaking to a sports team, or a group of people, he uses his life experiences overcoming adversities while growing up and in his time serving in the military. He loves to help others navigate through life and find solutions through God's word. He speaks to college athletes, as well as professional athletes. 

He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Grace and Isabella. 

In his spare time, Ian enjoys hunting, fishing, music and sports.
